Are our sex cells only from that one cell at fertilization and from nothing else?

Do our sex cells only carry the chromosomes from when we where first conceived and only those ones.
Since our body creates new cells from those first ones at fertilization, and those new cells could generate mutations on them.
But our sex cells do not carry thoses chromosomes and cells, they only carry the chromosomes that were present at the very first sex cell.
Is that right?
P.S i dont mean mutations that can happen in the sex cells of the persons parents, for example fragile x syndrome, the person can get the because of a mutated sex cell, the parent wont have that but the child could.

It sounds as if you are asking if there is a set "precursor sex cell" immediately after fertilization. In the sense that all our cells derive from the first cell, yes sex cells are from that one cell, but there are many intermediate cell types between the first cell and the sex cell precursors.

During fertilization the two sex cells, or gametes, come together to form one entirely different cell. This cell will then grow and divide into a primordial mix of cells, none of which are initially differentiated into other cell types, including sex cells. Sex cells will not be differentiated until much later in the fetus' development. All cell types will contain the same basic DNA, it is simply hormones and transcription factors which influence which chromosomes are transcribed and later expressed as protein. The sex cells must contain the same genetic code for the rest of the body, otherwise they would be incapable of fusing to form a new human being. The primary difference in sex cells and somatic cells is that there is only one copy of each chromosome within the sex cell, while somatic cells have two copies.
